PRESENTATION OF FIELD OBSERVATIONS
The field data are presented on a map at a horizontal
scale of 8 inches to 1320 feet. The dates compiling, prospecting
on grid lines, sampling and working on claim 1191101 are
as follows:
1998
May 6;
Start pace and compass grid line from lb"gging road
on the west side 282 feet east from west claim line to north
claim line 1805 feet.
May 7:
Start pace and compass grid line from logging road
on the east side 330 feet west from east claim line, north
to the 537 foot mark. A mineralized discovery was made.
Prospect area and collect samples for assay. Thence north
618 feet to east-west skid road. Prospect area and collect
samples for assay. Back to the discovery zone and pace
and compass to east claim line.
From the north claim line at the 570 foot mark, pace
and compass south 247 feet, thence east to skid road.
Field survey conducted by D. King, assisted by H. Simpson.
D. King Page 6 May 1998
MINERALIZATION
Copper with considerable malachite alteration was
discovered on east grid line in quartz veining in granite
porphyry, which seems to be in the contact zone of the granite
and the mafic metavolcanics.
Sulphides were found at the 1155 foot mark end of
grid line.
D. King May 1998
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
On May 5, drilling and blasting at the 1164 foot mark
was contracted for May 6, but due to fire hazard was postponed
to a later date. The new copper discovery made May 7 will
be added to the contract.
Respectfully submitted,
