Throughout history all manner of life has evolved to better adapt to the
situations and surroundings that dominate their world. Each species has run
into their own distinctive setbacs and hurdles as they try to settle into their
individual niches. !s human beings we face our own uni"ue setbacs#
sorrows and obstacles on our way through physical# social and spiritual
progression. $e can even go so far as to say the human condition has the
most weight that has to be carried as we try to strive from. $e are verycomple% creatures that have to live in a delicate balance within a comple%
social based environment. Growth# survival# sustaining and the ultimate goal
of self-thriving& the idea of human thriving is goal that can drive a person to
do great things# initiate the spar pure passion and allow them to go well
beyond their initial genetic capabilities. 'owever# the drive to thrive has its
own bane& rage# depression# violence# isolation and self-destruction are some
of the possible attributes of a failed (ourney to thrive. 'umanity as a whole
thrives on economic principles. $hile there are several other systems of
obtaining goods and services besides simple cash& lie bartering# in today)s
society many of these systems and forces are dependent on some economic
pull *domestic or international+------insert information proof here. $hen we
try to live let alone thrive we have to have some sort of stable support
otherwise the drive to thrive turns into a drive to survive------insert e%ample
of detrimental e,ect of poverty. The idea of a living wage is a perfect
marriage of linguistic tagging and the meaning behind the phrase.-------insert
a good def of living wage. ----prime audience with e%amplesintro)s to other
group member)s topics. Today)s society is amaing# we are more connected#
more medically e"uipped# more technologically advanced than most would
have thought possible during their childhood. $e are progressing towards

many great achievements------how can / mae this statement relevant000-----
with these achievementsadvancements we have also created a need for a
higher living wage----give solid un"uestionable reason---- give some more
1ller here and then some de1nite e%amples of what could happen with no
wage change.
So as we continue to move forward and strive to thrive we need to also
consider how we can stabilie our system of commerce in order to allow
everyone around us and our future generations to have the possibility for a
livable life on a livable wage.
