Incorporated in 2001, Network Cabling Services has a core competency of being a highly capable Structured Cabling, Audio Visual, and Security Integration contractor. From facilities analysis and design to installation and maintenance services, NCS can provide Security Integration services and all the services involved in the premise wiring for Voice and Data connectivity requirements, including inside and outside plant, copper, fiber, and wireless media. Network Cabling Services is certified and trained in over 100 different Cabling/AV and Security Manufacturers Lines.

Network Cabling Services maintains a best practice business model for implementation of any project. Our team includes project management, customer service, quality assurance, safety teams, firestop specialists and administrative support personnel. The entire Network Cabling Services team will be engaged in the project to ensure a state of the art installation. With 4 offices located in Texas, we can support any project using the full time employees that we have on our staff. We currently have 200 employees with 120 being field technicians.

We are the only company in Houston that is a Certified BICSI Training Facility that employs a full time Quality Assurance Manager who is not only an RCDD, but is also a Certified BICSI Trainer. Our commitment to quality demands that we provide our employees with the highest standard of excellence as a point of reference. meet our clients’ emergency needs. NCS Customer Service Approach The Network Cabling Services Customer Service Team provides two distinct functions: Customer Support and Customer Problem Resolution Customer Support:

Network Cabling Services maintains a philosophy of a Lifecycle Approach towards its significant customers and their projects. The many aspects of our approach stem from the initial job walkthrough to job completion and beyond. All of the departments of our company play a role in this systematic approach to total customer care, thus, establishing a consultative relationship with our customers for a mutually beneficial, long term relationship.

The Lifecycle Approach includes:

• Pre-estimate walkthroughs completed by capable and experienced personnel and/or RCDD personnel.

• Estimate completed and reviewed by BICSI RCDD personnel with participation by sales and senior management.

• Internal pre-construction meetings to identify all key personnel to be involved with the customer’s Lifecycle.

• Pre-construction meeting with the customer to identify the Network Cabling Services team and Customer team members.

• The pre-construction meeting will also layout timelines, reporting methodologies, change-order procedures, problem reporting procedures, safety-testing-documentation processes, punch-list development, invoicing and payment processes, and to discuss any specific customer requirements or requests.

• Post-construction warranty and documentation delivery. • Post-construction QA assessment and job commissioning. • Certified BICSI Training Facility and Customer training services. • Routine and continuous contact with the customer to stay abreast of MAC

work, warranty issues, overall customer satisfaction, and customer relationship continuity.

Customer Problem Resolution:

Network Cabling Services maintains a fully equipped Service Department with 24-hour on-call technicians. Network Cabling Services can respond to an emergency call on a number of different service arrangements. Every account is assigned a Project Manager who is on call during business hours as well as after hours. There is an operations individual on call 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, Network Cabling Services can assign particular technicians to an account under a contractual arrangement. Otherwise, any emergency call will be handled from the pool of technicians that are available. The turnaround time is also negotiable. Each customer can select immediate response, 4-hour response, or next day response. The service arrangement is flexible.

Save time All contracts have been competitively bid so you no longer have to prepare competitive solicitations or evaluate responses. TCPN has done the time-consuming procurement work for you and has negotiated discounts on hundreds of products and services. Save money We leverage the volume buying power of the state of Texas to negotiate competitive pricing, which translates into big savings for your organization. You can negotiate even deeper discounts based on large volume purchases. Who can buy through TCPN? You are eligible to buy through TCPN if you are with a Texas state agency, county, local government office, public or private school, or university. Do I have to go through the competitive bid process and release an RFO in order to buy through TCPN? No. TCPN has already performed all state of Texas competitive procurement requirements. You no longer have to prepare competitive solicitations or evaluate

responses, since we have completed that work for you. Texas Government Code, Section 2054.0565 (b) states that ICT Co-op Contracts meets the competitive requirements for all governmental entities.

Can I buy from HUB/MWBE vendors through TCPN? Yes. Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and/or Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) vendors do hold contracts with TCPN.

3. Explain how your company plans to market this agreement to existing government

customers. NCS will send out an email and direct mail campaign to our existing and potential government clients educating them on the benefits of utilizing the TCPN contract for their Security Integration service needs.

4. Provide a detailed 90-day plan describing how the contract will be implemented within your

firm. Once the contract is awarded, NCS will announce to our team the details of the new

contract. Because NCS has been involved with TCPN under contract R4823 since 2007, implementation of the contract will be relatively quick. Within the first 90 days, NCS will send out a detailed email to our Sales and Estimating teams explaining the details of TCPN and how it benefits their clients and follow up with detailed training during our weekly sales meetings. Our operational and accounting teams are familiar with accepting, implementing, and tracking TCPN purchase orders from our current clients.

5. Describe how you intend on training your national sales force on the TCPN agreement. We currently have a TCPN contract in place so our sales force understands the value of how the contract works.

NCS has a highly flexible accounting software platform that allows for detailed tracking and reporting of sales through various search criteria. We already report monthly sales for our current TCPN contract (R4823) so complying with reporting requirements under a new TCPN contract will be no problem.

3. Describe the capacity of your company to provide management reports, i.e. consolidated billing by location, time and attendance reports, etc. for each eligible agency.

We utilize Computer Ease for all Accounting and Billing reports and can customize the reports to fit the specific needs of the customer in minutes.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the world population is expanding at a mind-boggling rate. The world reached 1 billion people in 1800; 2 billion by 1922; and over 6 billion by 2000. It is estimated that the population will swell to over 9 billion by 2050. That means that if the world’s natural resources were evenly distributed, people in 2050 will only have 25% of the resources per capita that people in 1950 had.

The world has a fixed amount of natural resources - some of which are already depleted. So as population growth greatly strains our finite resources, there are fewer resources available. 6. What is your company’s return and restocking policy? Are there any applicable fees? NCS gives a certain amount of leeway to customers for product returns. Products returned for cause (defective) have no charge. We will accept product returns from customer within 2-weeks of delivery as long as the manufacturer will accept the product and provide NCS a refund for our purchase. A restocking fee will apply (15%-25%).

As a Security Integrator, NCS coordinates the installation schedule based on the client’s needs and material delivery dates. NCS is provided specific material delivery dates from the manufacturer and incorporates these dates into the project schedule prior to every installation.

All installations will meet or exceed BICSI standards, NEC, Federal, State and local codes. NCS has a service technician on call 24/7 to handle emergency repairs. An NCS technician will be dispatched within 24 hours to inspect the concern and identify the cause of the problem. If it is a warranty issue not caused by excessive or extraordinary damage due to wear and tear or unforeseen catastrophe, NCS will repair or replace the product to rectify the issue to full function at no charge to the customer. Invoices can be mailed to the address as stipulated on the contract/purchase order or emailed directly to the client from our software system. Smaller jobs are invoiced upon completion of the installation while larger projects are progressively billed on a monthly basis utilizing AIA schedule of values.
