Project Title: i-Scanphone

A phone that can scan words.

Product Introductioni-Scanphone is a anti-scratch multi-touch screen phone that can scan words from

any reading materials and save the scanned words in audio and text file. It can also

function as a phone, that include voice calling, video calling(3G), SMS, MMS. i-

Scanphone have a 5.0 mega pixel camera, build in 2.0Bluetooth, WiFi and an internal

120GB memory card.

How it Work?i-Scanphone works similar to ordinary phone, but the special thing about i-

Scanphone is that it can scan thousand of word and store it in the memory card as an

audio and text file. Text file can be open using Microsoft word and audio file can be open

using media player.

This scanner can also be a universal remote control, to activate the remote mode,

users just need to press the remote icon in the main menu. Not only that, this scanner also

can function as laser, this laser can help users to point a far objects. I-Scanphone have 4.7

volt battery and can last for 48 hours if in use and 336 hours in standby mode. I-

Scanphone just need one hour to be fully charged.

When i-Scanphone in phone mode, the scanner will be in standby mode and users

can change to scanner mode by only one touch on the touch screen that show the scanner

icon. Extra software also installed inside the i-scanphone such as, Dictionary, mini

Microsoft word, scientific calculator and internet explorer.

i-Scanphone also have visual keyboard that help users to edit the text file and

typing. Not only that, the text file can be read by the i-scanphone and convert it to audio

file, and this file can be listen through the loudspeaker or headphone. So, users didn’t

have to read the text file, they just can let the i-Scanphone do the work for them.
