1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
From research and interviewed from the company. We found that child
safety is one most vital issue on parents. Of course no one can protect
their children from everything or foresee all the possible dangers they
may face, but with a little child safety planning and a lot of love we can
protect them from a lot. After all, this is community responsibilities.
Therefore, to improve child safety in shopping complex, we need to
have smart leisure corner to give option to parents while shopping they
can drop by their children for some leisure reading.
The recommended charge will cost not more RM 15, 000.00 and will
improve security level and public image along with decreased cases of
missing children.

furniture. Tables and chairs are in suitable size for the kids. The
other furniture is bookshelves. The height of these bookshelves
also suitable for the kids to reach reading material.
iv. The play mat also being provided. If the tables are fully occupied,
kids can sit on the play mat and enjoy their reading. Play mat
also can reduce the risk of getting injured if the kids suddenly
falling down. This play mat is made from the rubber and the

the kids. The bean bags are more convenience and not harmful
for the kids.
vi. The television provided is for educational purpose. Television is
beneficial for the kids who do not interested in reading or they
cannot read yet.

From research and interviewed from the company. We found that child safety is one most vital
issue on parents. Of course no one can protect their children from everything or foresee all the
possible dangers they may face, but with a little child safety planning and a lot of love we can
protect them from a lot. After all, this is community responsibilities A parent comes shopping to
buy groceries, food and beverage and many more. But juggling a shopping list and a shopping
cart with a dragging wheel with children is frustrating enough. Parents have to take care of their
children while shop and they is sometimes disturbing others. Then, at last parents need to decide
who are going to shop and who are going to taking care of children. Usually, a mother will do
the shopping and the father would take care of children. But, children seem to have in-built radar
when it comes to behaving badly in public and tantrums can become an expected and feared
event. Children always seems to choose the worst time to lose it, leaving the parent red-faced
and mortified, hoping a hole will open up to swallow both of parent.
Problem Statement
Taking children shopping can be an exasperating experience for any parent. Childrens behavior
seems to get worse in public places for a variety of reasons. Adults might be too involved with
the shopping list, or too busy chatting to their friend. Children learn from a very early age the
best way to get an immediate reaction is to do something naughty. Parents, who pay attention to
bad behavior, whilst ignoring the good behavior, teach that bad behavior earns a bigger pay off.
Another reason children behave badly in public places is they are bored. It is unrealistic to expect
a four-year-old to remain quiet and focused during a two-hour shopping trip.
Children have limited experiences of learning how to behave in public. If they misbehave, it is
likely their parents will become annoyed and embarrassed and may deal with the tantrum in a
different way than they do at home. This teaches the child that public tantrums end with them
getting what they wanted so as to avoid a fuss. Shops are full of temptations for children and a
ready audience to make their parents feel guilty or judged. Therefore, they will do it next time
they are out. Children are very fast learners.
