Description of your intentions: I intend to create a music video that gives off clear visual clues that it is set in the 1950s. It will begin with both a male and female preparing for a performance which will include hair, make-up and costume. This will be done through many close ups and extreme close ups to create relationships with the characters and the audience which is vital for the end scene. ¾ into the music video I plan to choreograph a routine for the male and female to do, again in the 50s style, and this will be filmed on stage with an empty auditorium. Brief: To create a music video

Aim: My aim is to create an effective music video that would appeal to my target audience as something they could relate to and would enjoy watching.

Description of your intentions:I intend to create a music video that gives off clear visual clues that it is set in the 1950s. At the end of the video it will then cut to the modern day where we see an older lady sat in her front room watching television, she is then watching the performance back and a photo frame of the couple give the visual clues to the audience that she is watching herself back but is now on her own and no longer has her partner around which will tie the whole music video together.

Target Audience:My primary target audience will be fans of Kodaline and people that listen to their music as they would typically watch the music videos. My secondary target audience could possibly be performers as they would be able to strongly relate to this. Taking this into consideration, my target audience would be between the ages of 15-28 and those that enjoy going to festivals/gigs etc.

Similar Products:All Kodaline videos tend to follow a narrative so I decided to stick to this theme so therefore mainly Kodaline videos would be similar. However, also performance videos such as Pixie Lott – Gravity/Alesha Dixon – Breath Slow/Beyonce – Single Ladies etc.
