great food and fun created the largest event in Skyshow history. 40,000 to50,000 patriotic Charlotteans joined Jefferson-Pilot Communications, 107.9

the LINK, 1110 WBT-AM/FM and our sponsors as we wished AmericaHappy Birthday!

HERO’S JEEP LIBERTY LOUNGE SPONSOR:Jefferson Pilot Communications will create a special VIP tent next to themain stage. The area will be designated exclusively for Veterans andsponsored by Jeep. Representatives from the Armed Services will act ashonor guard greeting each veteran as they enter with salutes. As veteransarrive they will sign a commemorative mobile billboard and will be given abutton saying “I’m an American Hero – Jeep Salutes Veterans.” Theveterans and guests will be able to enjoy snacks and cool drinks in an air-conditioned tent. Jeep will create a special video greeting card featuring ourlocal heroes to be sent to our troops overseas by recording messages fromthe veterans.
