Shaytaan said:
“I am better than him! You created me from fire
and created him from clay.” (Qur’aan 38:76)
Allah was angry with Shaytaan and
sent him far. Shaytaan asked Allah if
he could have a long life and to live
until the last day. Allah granted this
wish.
Shaytaan then said that he’ll
make people do bad things,
like lying and not listening to
our parents and teachers
Then one day, Shaytan came to them with bad ideas. He
told them to eat from the fruits of the tree, even though
Allah told them to stay away from the tree.
He told them that if they ate the fruits from the tree then
they would be able to live forever!
They both realised that they did
something wrong and they were
very sorry so they asked Allah to
forgive them.
The lessons we can learn from the
story of Adam AS
• We must remember Shaytaan is our enemy and he is always
making us do things that Allah would be unhappy with.
• We must ask Allah to protect us from Shaytaan and his evil
whispers.
• Look how kind and merciful Allah is. Shaytaan did not listen
to Allah but still Allah accepted his dua for a long life. We
must never stop making dua to Allah for He will surely
answer our prayers
