Rotary Youth Exchange – Our Best-Kept Secret!
Outbounds & Inbounds
Tell the Rotary Youth Exchange Story!
Outreach to Outbounds
Provide PR material, handouts, posters, guidelines to Clubs for recruiting – and use Social Media (Facebook, Twitter) too.
Here’s how your clubs & districts can recruit students:
---Visit schools, guidance counselors, foreign language classes
---Use current Inbounds
---Engage ROTEX and Rebounds
---Speak to churches & community groups
Promoting to get Host Clubs and Host families involved:
--Current Inbound Students are the best promotion for our program. Have them go to club meetings, not just of host clubs, but clubs that are not currently hosting. Do a program at those clubs, Students can get Rotarians to fall in love with them!
--Have clubs that are not hosting, host an activity It’s a great way to grow a clubs interest in our program and for them to get to know the students.
--Rotarians can recruit potential host families at Civic, Community and Church organizations they belong to.
--Promote Inbound program with Outbound students and their families
We Engage YE, we change lives!
