PROGRAMMESpanish Language and Culture Courses designed forinternational students intending to start or continuetheir studies on Spanish Language at the UniversidadPolitécnica de Madrid, or for those who intend to takea term/year at any Spanish university and need tohave a previous knowledge of Spanish communicativeskills.

The programme is a 4-week course covering Spanishlanguage and cultural components run by the Univer-sidad Politécnica de Madrid during the month of July,combining language and culture face to face lessonswith outdoor cultural activities

The programme includes:lSpanish Language course run by experts in Span-ish communication skills.lIndoor/Outdoor Cultural Activities.lAccommodation in the University Students Hall.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE.

SPANISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMME

METHODOLOGYThe programme applies the Blended Learning method-ology, which combines classroom face-to-face tuitionwith individual and group activities via the AVE (VirtualSpanish Classroom) programme. (Instituto Cervantes)

DURATIONOne month course: 120 hours (4 weeks), divided as fol-lows:lSpanish Language and Culture lessons: 60 face-to-face hourslTeam work tutored activities: 10 hourslOnline individual activities: 30 hourslOutdoor cultural activities: 20 hours.

LEVELSThe course offers the following levels according to theCommon European Reference Framework for Lan-guages (CERF):lA1 (Breakthrough)lA2 (Waystage)lB1.1/ B1.2 (Threshold)lB2 (Vantage)

Students will be required to take a level test at the startof the course.

Students will be issued with a Diploma / Certificate basedon their attendance and performance stating the courselevel and attained grade signed by PROLINTER UPM.
