Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine as well asMolecular Diagnostics have tremendously evolved during thelast decades and have changed our way of thinking and actingfor the patient’s care. We hope that the scientific program of

the Congress will reflect these changes and provide lectures and presentations on themost up to date topics in the field of Laboratory Medicine. Besides this, BalkanCongresses tend to become scientific events of high level where Balkan colleaguesmeet together, exchange experience and create stable scientific and friendshipconnections.

Athens is the ideal setting for such an important event. This exciting city with theunique natural beauty and mild climate, where more than 3000 years of history andculture blend harmoniously with the modern way of life, provides an ideal opportunityfor a short break between professional duties and high quality of scientific and socialprograms. Athens Hilton Hotel is centrally located and can be easily accessed by allmeans of public transportation.

The Greek Society of Clinical Chemistry - Clinical Biochemistry and the OrganizingCommittee feel privileged and responsible to organize a high quality scientific andsocial event.

We look forward to welcoming you in Athens
