Dead Hedge

Scrub removal

• Remove encroaching scrub from the cutting sides and trim back scrub on embankment top

• Remove the leavings / prunings and use them to form a dead hedge

• Plant up any remaining gaps in the defunct hedgerow with mixed whips, for future laying.

• Remove larger scrub roots with stump grinder• Repair or replace defunct bench on site.• Install interpretation board outlining ecological

value of the locality• Re-instate path surface
