An Exclusive Look Inside Zaha Hadid’s First New York City Residence ”It’s sculpture inhabited. ”That’s how Tiago Correia, the U.S. director of Zaha Hadid Architects describes his firm’s condo building at 520 West 28th Street. “We made a building that very deliberately blurs the lines between art and architecture,” he explains. “That’s our way to pay tribute to the location, to Zaha’s work, and to the burgeoning lifestyle in the area.”

West Chin and Jennifer Post created interiors that both highlight Hadid’s work and, in a sense, soften it for everyday living. Furnished with Lazzoni Mony sectional sofa and Olivia bed.

Since the residence lets the sunshine in, the products and fabrics were selected accordingly. In order to prevent the products to challenge the cityscape, the products have been selected in wood and light tones. In the bedroom, dark and masculine tones are selected with the aim of catching a smooth harmony.

KIMPTON BLYTHSWOOD HOTEL

Carrying the name of one of the most famous three families in Scotland, Kimpton Hotel started a competition to design 4 different room types through Interior Arc England Magazine. One of the winners, Turkish designer C. Ozan Yazgan has designed 12 “nature rooms” of the hotel and later the lobby. The project was awarded by various design magazines in 2015 and 2016 under the title “simple and special” and lastly, it was crowned by winning the Jury’s Special Award by England’s Architectural Association.

ZACHARY RESTAURANT

All design processes of Zachary Restaurant located in Spain’s capital city, Madrid was conducted by using Lazzoni products. The hotel embodying this special restaurant/bar project was taken over by the Spanish brand 7 Isis today and the restaurant has continued its activity under the same name.

Serving as a Cantonese Restaurant in the Harbor City area of Hong Kong, Hexa started to host its guests with Lazzoni products. All moving furniture of the project consisted of some special parts brought from China was created with a meticulous and careful work by Lazzoni’s project management team.

Singapore2013-2014

3 SEVENTY 4

The restaurant, affiliated with the historical gastronomy school named 374, (3 seventy 4), is providing service under the body of the “Singapore World Trade Center”. All moving furniture group of this special restaurant serving flavors of all world cuisine, primarily from the Far East, was manufactured by Lazzoni. This project in which a nanotechnology fabric was used for the first time, made its remark on the design authorities and magazines.

AFRODIT RESTAURANTS

Afrodit Restaurant consisting of a selection of Greek cuisine by the famous Greek Chef George Koumpouris is at service in the capital city of Germany, Berlin. All moving furniture of the modern styled restaurant was manufactured following the concept by using the design and manufacturing power of Lazzoni.

BREW 92

Known as the first brand of restaurant dining in Kuwait, Brew brought its new concept Brew 92’s moving furniture into life by using Lazzoni products. The restaurant was awarded by Design Hub Arabia in 2014-2015 and 2016 on the Best Restaurant Category and made its remark. The most notable feature of the project is aluminum structured furniture which usually used for the outdoor spaces chosen for the interior area in a specialized way.


Lazzoni is a company with internationally recognized Quality Management System accredited by Bureau Veritas, an independent inspection and auditing certification body.

Lazzoni is awarded with a certificate by Italy-based ICRO confirming water based paints that are unharmful to environment and human health and non-carcinogenic substances have been used in our products.

By embracing the Japanese lean manufacturing philosophy and six sigma method, our company employs manufacturing practices to minimise the error rate, increase productivity and customer satisfaction to the highest level.

Lazzoni is certified that the substance (formaldehyde) used in its panels is at a level that does not pose any threat to human health according to the European norms.

Lazzoni is certified by independent organization BBS, with internationally known Information Security Management System.

Lazzoni which is a globally registered trademark by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is also a well-known trademark in Turkey.

Lazzoni is awarded with a certificate by Germany-based Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) on the use and supply of forestry products appropriately and in compliance with the laws.

Lazzoni is certified that its panels are classified as “difficult to ignite” and fire resistant to a certain extent according to the European norms.

Lazzoni is certified by US-based CARB (California Air Resources Board) that the substance (formaldehyde) used in its panels is at a level that does not pose any threat to human health.

Lazzoni is certified by Bureau Veritas for following an effective and efficient procedure in handling customer complaints.
