The District includes Butte College in Oroville CA and the College’s Glenn Center at Orland CA. Butte College is one of the 112 public 2-year colleges and Butte-Glenn Community College District is one of the 72 community college districts in California. The college had 12,163 (Fall 2012) students—52% part-time, and 33% 25 and over. The 3,263 degrees and certificates for 2013-2014 included 641 in social sciences, 499 in heald professions, 237 in business, and 232 in precision production. The student-to-faculty ratio is 25 to 1.
