Introduction When people talks about the latest mobile phones, the two companies are mentioned very often are
the Blackberry & the iPhone. Both phones are very popular and also are very advanced compared to
most other phone companies. However, there seems to be a debate on which phones are the best.
To find out which is better I am going to compare the latest phone from both of the companies to
determine the best phone currently out which are the Apple iPhone 3GS and the Blackberry Torch
9800
Comparison
One of the first aspects of the phones that people look for is the price of the phone due to people want
the best phone without breaking the bank. The Apple iPhone 3GS costs around £380 online where as
the Blackberry 9800 Torch costs around £480, £100 more than the Apple iPhone 3GS.
The features of the phones are also a key factor as well; the Apple iPhone 3GS has 8 times the size
when it comes to storage as well as a better frame rate for recording videos & a bigger screen but the
Blackberry Torch 9800 has a better camera, a better quality screen and also 2 times the amount of
RAM meaning the blackberry will be smoother when using the phone compared to the Apple iPhone
3GS
Conclusion
Based on the specifications and the prices, the Blackberry Torch 9800 is more suited for business
purposes due to the fact that it has a keyboard, much less space and a better camera than the Apple
iPhone 3GS where as the Apple Phone 3GS is suited for media and personnel uses such as a better
video capture quality and a bigger screen.
