PROJECTION OF PLANES

1. A regular pentagon of 30mm side is resting on one of its edges on HP which is inclined at 45° to VP .its surface is inclined at 30° to HP. Draw its projections°

2. A regular pentagonal lamina ABCDE of side 30mm has one of its edges parallel to the VP and inclined at 30° to the HP. The pentagon is inclined at 45° to the VP. Draw the projections

3. Draw the projections of a circle of 70 mm diameter resting on the HP. On a point A of the circumference. The plane is inclined to the HP. Such that the top view of it is an ellipse of minor axis 40mm. The top view of the diameter through the point A is making an angle of 45° with the VP. Determine the inclination of the Plane with the HP.

4. A pentagonal plane of side 30mm is placed with one side on HP and the surface is inclined at 50° to HP. And perpendicular to VP. Draw its projections

5. Draw the Projections of a circular lamina of Diameter 60mm resting on the ground on a point on the circumference, its plane inclined at 45° to HP and plan of the diameter making 30° with VP.

6. A regular pentagonal lamina of 40mm side has one side in VP. And the plane is inclined at 30° to VP. Draw the Projections of the plane.

7. A hexagonal lamina of side 30mm is resting on VP on one of its sides and inclined at 40° to HP. its surface is inclined at 35° to VP. Draw the projections.

8. A square lamina ABCD of 40mm side rests on one of its corners on ground. the plane is inclined at an angle of 30° to the ground and diagonal DB in plan inclined at 45° to the VP and parallel to the HP. draw its projections.

9. A hexagonal lamina of side 30mm rests on one of its edges on HP .this edge is parallel to VP. The surface of the lamina is inclined at 60° to HP. Draw the projections.

10. A rectangular plate of side 50x 25mm is resting on its shorter side on HP and inclined at 30° to VP. Its surface is inclined at 60° to HP. draw its projections.

11. The top-view of square plane with 60mm long diagonal appears as a Rhombus of 60mm & 45mm long, one of the corners of the plane is in the HP. Draw its projections when one of the diagonal is parallel to both the planes.

12. A hexagonal lamina of side 20mm rest on one of its corners on the HP the diagonal passing through this corner is inclined at 45° to the HP. The lamina is then rotated through 90° such that the top-view of this diagonal is perpendicular to the VP and the surface is still inclined at 45° to the HP. Draw its projections.

13. A pentagon of side 30mm rests on the ground on one of its corner with the sides containing the corer being equally spaced inclined to the ground the side opposite to the corner on which it rests is inclined at 30° to VP & is parallel to HP. The surface of the pentagon makes 50° with the ground. Draw the top-view and front-view of the pentagon.

14. A square ABCD of 50mm side has its corner A on the ground its diagonal AC inclined at 30° to the HP and diagonal BD inclined at 45° to VP and parallel to HP. Draw its projections

15. An equilateral triangle of side 40mm is so placed that the side PQ is resting on the HP and inclined at 35° to the VP. The difference in height between R&P is 30mm. Draw its projections.
