Project Summary
This new build 2 storey Dentistry teaching facility, was built adjacent to the first Dentistry
building completed 3 years prior. This project was the second phase of the purpose-built
Dental Academy. The Centre is located at the University of Portsmouth’s Ravelin Park, within
the University Quarter.
The development provides leading-edge Dental Education and Training for Dentists, Therapists,
Hygienists and Dental Nurses from Kings College Dental Institute in London. The facility also
provides dental care to adults and children.
TNG’s Designs Included High Efficiency Low Carbon VRV Cooling Systems;
High Efficiency Heat Recovery Ventilation using Variable Speed Thermal Wheel Technology;
Clinical Dental Compressed Air Distribution System;
Energy Efficient Lighting Scheme; Intelligent Lighting Control System;
BMS Controls system
