Project work – RequirementsjThe project work must be presented in the last two classes

The presentation should involve every member of the group

The deliverables of the project work include• The source codes (in a zip file)• The instruction (i.e., “readme”) file that describes in details how toThe instruction (i.e., readme ) file that describes in details how to

install/compile/run the project program (and additional soft. pack. used)

• The project report (in a PDF file) that describes- The problem definition (i.e., what real-world problem the system solves)p ( , p y )- The knowledge representation used- The methodology of discovering the knowledge and/or building the

system’s knowledge baseTh t f ti ( d h t th f ti )- The system functions (and how to use these functions)

- The major problems/issues occurred in the problem solving and system implementation, and how you solved them

- Your discussions/findings/conclusions and possible future improvementsYour discussions/findings/conclusions, and possible future improvements

Project work – AssessmentjThe project work will be evaluated on

• Complexity/difficulty of the real-world problem that you have solvedp y y p y• Quality of your solution (i.e., methodology)• Adequacy of your discussions on the solved problem• Quality of the presentation• Quality of the presentation• Quality of the report• The system implementation (e.g., functions, easy to use, etc.)

The presentation: in ~15 min., and in line with what stated in the report

If you reuse/extend/exploit existing codes/packages/tools, you must explicitly and clearly describe in the report (and mention in the p y y p (presentation)

• what you have reused/extended/exploited; and• what are your own codeswhat are your own codes

Project work – ProposaljFreely propose a real-world problem to be solved (refer to the examples of the course project topics)p p j p )

The project proposal should (be reasonably specific!)• be 1 or 2 pages• describe the real-world problem that you want to solve (i.e.,

application scenario)• indicate the knowledge representation and (the first ideas of) the

methodology you intend to apply• specify what are the input and output of the implemented system

Please send by e mail to quang nguyennhat@hust edu vn/Please send by e-mail to [email protected]/ [email protected] no later than September 22, 2013

• The group’s members: Full names, Student IDs, and Emails• The project proposal of the group
