II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project proposal, “Art is Cool” is unlike the usual projects held in communities. This will not involve teenagers, adults, or elderly; instead, the children are its focus. It will be like the usual school days; hence, it will be a fun and exciting activity for children. Children will be taught the basics in drawing and colouring to enhance their creativity and further develop their talents.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE

We chose this project so as to inspire children of Pandacan, Manila. This is the time wherein children enjoy the essence of art. They are more amazed of the things that art can do rather than pure education. The group believe that we can give joy to the children even at a short time only. Who knows, this could be a start for some of them and they discover their God-given talent on arts/

To give the children a fun and exciting time through this recreation time. To teach the children to be skilful in arts through hands-on exercises. To enhance their creativity and artistic skills for them to have self-confidence among

themselves.
