    Ladislav Pelcl, National Commissioner for Organisation HR Committee of Junk management of Keys for life project NSQ management

    2. Result definition

    2.1 Needs to which the project responds:

    Low level of knowledge of NFE and ways of its recognition in Junk; Not functioning mentoring (local training commissioners) for scout leaders; Opportunity to benefit from having competence-based youth programme and new

    Leadership Training; Opportunity to use results being prepared by the project Keys for Life (Personal

    competence portfolio, Self-evaluation tools, Minimum competence profiles, Qualifications).

    2.2 Goals to achieve: Make the NFE recognition a part of all trainings and available for every adult member; Make use of the results being prepared by the project Keys for Life

    o Personal competence portfolio make it known and usedo Self-evaluation tools distribute some of them to our leaders;o Minimum competence profiles inspiration for other trainings in Junko Qualifications become the Authorised person for their examination and

    awarding. Initiate process of improvement of the mentoring system for scout leaders (by using the

    tools described above, at least);

    2.3 Outcomes:

    Establish a culture of recognition in Junk; Print and distribute self-evaluation tools and help volunteers to use them to improve their

    employability; Provide leaders with improved mentoring support at every level;

    3. Conditions

    3.1 People directly involved:

    Pavel TRANTINA (V), team leader Veronika STRNADOV (P HR Committee) Pavel TROJNEK (V IC + HR Committee), Jakub PROCHZKA (V National Board member) Elika Hanzlov (P National Training Committe)

    We are well connected with the newly established HR Committee of Junk.

    4. Phases of the project

    4.1 Steps

    a) Discuss and convince the stakeholders to agree upon the goals 07/2011

    b) Create a core team consisting of people from HR and NationalTraining Committees (in order to ensue direct impact)

    c) Start discussions within the HR Committee about the ways to supportthe leaders through the existing local training commissioners

    10/2011

    d) Try to enrich the Experimental Leadership Training Handbook andother trainings with the topic of recognition

    e) Get supporters at various nationwide events Helpdesk, Elixir, Mixem through series of workshops on recognition offered there

    f) Discuss and convince leaders of training events to understand theneed for recognition and to start using it at the end of trainingsstarting at UL Nationwide training commissioners meeting

    g) Define (jointly with HR and National Training Committee) newly theroles of local training commissioners

    h) Finalize Czech translation of Valorise-toi and publish it s asupplement of Scouting magazine together with a brief methodologyfor training events

    i) Make recognition tools an integral part of the website jobs.skaut.czand make them attractive (CV creation and guidance, business cardscreator, examples of successful personal stories etc.)

    - convincing the people inside of the organisation- getting inspiration from other NSOs

    - minimalistic, the majority of things is included in other already running projects (travelcosts, printing costs)
