Breaking myths and statements that make people even like RE, but still think it is not possible to attend our demand and make it happen
HOW TO BREAK MYTHS?
Evidencing, in different ways, for different audiences, the feasibility of solar energy - in a pragmatic way. We need to bring the facts that proves that solar energy is possible, and incontestable.

Solar Multipliers Objectives• To have a training programme for mobilizers able to :
– Participate and give support for the solar panels installation during the showcases: Uberlândia, São Paulo, Off-Grid
– Carry out trainings and lectures about solar gadgets (solar lights, toys, oven, solar bags) and energy efficiency (good conduct)
– Carry out trainings for Youth Groups, and trainings for 08 Volunteers Groups so they can also multiply some of the trainings
– Disclosure of Solar Energy, Campaign and Solarmacher throughout 2015 and 2016
Solar Multipliers will be part of the work front: Demonstrate solar energy is possible, increasing qualitative and quantitative awareness of Brazilians about solar energy

Besides that, the Solar Multipliers must have time availability for :
- The First Big Training (04 days)- Show cases (03-04 days in between March and May)- Trainings (One weekend in between May and July)- Other activities to be choosen by themselves from August until

These were translated into criteria in an Application Form to be developed. Articulation was the most important criteria for selection.
Previous mobilisation tactics
We need, at the same time, make the Multipliers attractive, and guarantee clear and transparent expectations from our side
- Trying to reach all the target groups by building an attractive narrative for the Multipliers and justifying why we ask for so much dedication. For instance, professional qualification,
- Disclosure for our networks and for general public during at least, 03 weeks. There will be online and offline disclosure.
- Communication disclosure material : Blog about the Programme; Facebook shareable link and “poster”, video about showcase and crowdfunding with Solar Celebrity (after 16/01)
- Where and who will support: GP Staff, social media, GP and partners´s mail list, among, Universities, etc.

Purpose
We believe that explain the whole context for energy and CO2 emissions is most important for ensuring trust among Multipliers and also the public to which they will be talking to

We want to show successful projects which are also focused in people mobilisation and have inspired us to create the Multipliers Group Do´s and Dont´s are an essential part of this training

Theme 03 : Designing SystemsContent
Practical training on:- Solar gadgets: solar lights, toys,

Purpose
- To show solar feasibility in practice, capacity building for attending "quick" demands in events and lectures
- Calculation on their housings energy consumption and how to decrease
- Train the group for supporting Solarmacher disclosure
- Prepare the group for installing Solar panels during showcases, as much professional as possible
Theme 04 :Building a TeamContent Purpose
- Ensure that Multipliers are also responsible for mulitplying the knowledge in schools and other institutions
- Develop leadership and autonomy of all the Group members
- How to carry out school visits, with different youth ages. How to mobilise the students even without the solar panels installation.
Theme 05 : Multiplying after allContent
- Necessary articulations for working in the schools and other institutions and potential partners in Brazil, how to finance projects and fundraising.
- Currently available tools and initiatives that can help articulation and execution of projects in different regions of Brazil
- Workshops with people who are now developing such kind of project (Climax, Bike Anjo, Youth on Rooftop…)
Purpose
- Develop leadership and autonomy of group members
- Ensure that the initiatives will be able to go on and new projects can happen without Greenpeace intervention

Theme 06 : Planning TogetherContent
- Facilitation within the Group for planning activities and creating a calendar for the Multiplication
- Identification of stakeholders and actors the Group wants to achieve, and possible approaches for this
- Budget planning
Purpose
Ensure a Plan that will promote:- Develop leadership and
autonomy of group members- Ensure that the initiatives will
be able to go on and new projects can happen without Greenpeace intervention
- Inspire and stimulate the Multipliers to carry on interventions aiming the 1 million solar rooftops
SOLAR MULTIPLIERS OVER 2015Who will be choosen?
Solar Multipliers Structure - 30 young people were selected, since we want an active group of 20
people (4 groups of 05) until the end of 2016- The Group was trained before the showcase, and after that, they were
split in smaller groups (per city and region) for training other institutions: 08 volunteers groups, boys and girls scouts, universities, civil society, and others .
- Greenpeace offers mentoring and support for all the activities developed- Besides the trainings, multipliers will be responsible for carrying out
interventions offline and online during the year. (The ideal is to have all them carrying at least one intervention/activity per month from August to November- this will be done via FUP Plan)
Solar Multipliers Multiplying Plan for TrainersWe want the Solar Multipliers to be able to train other Multipliers, for that, we plan to have a teacher and pedagogue supporting us with the concept below. All the Groups will have a mentorship from the Programme in order to carry on new activities

Solar Multipliers in the showcases
During the showcases, Solar Multipliers will work randomly during 04 to 06 days:
- Participating in the solar panels installation on the rooftop, guided by an experient instructor (Vânia, Adriano, Company Staff)
- Carrying out solar gadgets and energy efficiency trainings for the school students and school community
Multiplying Plan for “spreading the news” Besides training GP volunteers, the Solar Multipliers will be commited to develops projects such as :
- Keeping Social Media (twitter, facebook) updated with Solar and RE, GP Campaign and Showcases, Solarmacher, among others
- Training different institutions about the diverse themes that are part of the training
- Articulation with institutions for developing new solar projects
All these projects started to be discussed during the training and their effectivity and results are being done through a planned FUP evaluation
Solar Multipliers are organized in a Group in Greenwire where we share documents, agendas, plan together and manage all the work that is going on.
