In his State of the Nation Addresses (SONA) in 2020
President Ramaphosa made specific reference to
professional bodies in terms of their role in fighting
corruption and professionalizing industries. In fact,
numerous statements made in the SONA of 2018 and 2019
have direct bearing on the work of professional bodies, and
specifically the role of projects and project management in
social and economic development.
