In his State of the Nation Addresses (SONA) in 2020

President Ramaphosa made specific reference to

professional bodies in terms of their role in fighting

corruption and professionalizing industries. In fact,

numerous statements made in the SONA of 2018 and 2019

have direct bearing on the work of professional bodies, and

specifically the role of projects and project management in

social and economic development.

• International Professional Bodies such as APM, IPMA, AIPM, PMI, all offer

What is the meaning of Professional Development

• PM Professional Designations is designed to recognize Professionals according to their knowledge and competence

• Such sectors as; Accounting. Finance. Built Environment, Human Resources Management. etc...

• It indicates an independent endorsement of the ability to perform the PM skills

• It is the Criteria that PMSA through the SAQA National Policy developed and provide guidance for effective, valid, reliable and consistent, fair and transparent and appropriate assessment for a designation.
