2 Scope Management

Research

Research key information such as what the company is trying to sell, their ethos and what makes them different. This will help to decipher what brand to create for the client.

Logo/packaging design Design a maximum 15 logo designs for the client to decide which one they like. Get senior

designer to create the approved logo design. Design a maximum 2-3 packaging designs for the client to decide which one they like. Get senior

designer to create the approved packaging design.

The next stage is advertising Speak to the client in regards to what type of advertising they would like and what ideas they

have. Design a broadsheet print advertising campaign to be contained in various newspapers. Design

styles according to the broadsheet advert sizes. Senior designer speaks to the client about a skin / wrap advertising campaign. Junior designer

creates one based on their ideas. Senior designer asks the client for ideas for an online advert to be placed on various websites. The

main aim is to try and get the brands message across. Senior designer will create social media pages for the brand on various social media outlets such

as Twitter.

Business card/courtesy card Once the logo is approved, the junior designer can then create a business card. Before they do this

the client has to approve a business card design. Once chosen the business card is created which will also contain contact information and a strapline.

The mid-weight designer creates a courtesy card design. This is similar in style to the business card but the difference is it will only contain a courtesy message approved by the client.

Mid-weight designer will create a letterhead style agreed by the client. This will contain the company logo, address, contact telephone number, email address, web address and any social media pages.
