Project Brief

Chad and Gemma chose Cape Cod Australia to revamp their compact three bedroom 1950s cottage and develop it into a

spacious five bedroom home designed to take them into the future.

The Result

The addition has made room for a special kids zone on the first floor, which now includes three bedrooms, family bathroom

and rumpus room. A parents’ retreat/master suite was left untouched on the ground floor, while one bedroom was

removed to create the stairwell and another has been transformed into a guest bedroom. The family remained in their

home throughout the four-month build, and Gemma says she was impressed with the ease of the process and the stress-

free construction.
