Career Center Exterior Renovation

This project is an exterior renovation of The Citadel’s Career Center. The Career

Center is a 2-story brick structure located just outside the campus gate at 573

Huger Street, Charleston, SC in the Hampton Park Terrace Historic District. This

structure is approximately 3,300 SF and is listed on the National Register of

Historic Places. The scope of this project includes limited demolition, brick

repointing and repair, exterior wood repair and replacement, painting, metal

roofing, waterproof deck membrane, structural repairs to porches to include

concrete and tile, replacement of wood fencing, and abatement of lead-based paint

and asbestos.
