PROJECT COACH HELP MANUAL

I. Getting Started

a. Access the following URL www.t-eval.com

b. Login using your username and password as an Administrator

c. You should then see the following Welcome page that is dedicated to Project COACH.

d. To change your password, access the link as shown above, and then select a quality password, though there are no restrictions on the password, except that it is case sensitive. The username is NOT.

e. Verifying Data—You will want to first look at your staff, and make sure all teachers are listed. You do this by selecting “Mini Observations” and then checking your teachers. If you have errors, you have the ability to add, delete or edit this list under “User Management” and that section will be addressed later.

f. Adding or editing teachers—An attempt was made to pre-load all of your teachers; however, last minute additions and changes may mean your list is not correct. Each school administrator has the rights to add or edit a teacher or administrator.

g. Then simply fill out the form as follows

h. Making changes to teacher or administrator information

i. The same text boxes will appear as shown above. Fill out the form with the appropriate information, and hit create.

II. Completing a Mini-Observation

a. Select the Mini-Observation tab

b. Choose the specific teacher from the drop-down list

c. Hit the “New Mini-Observation” tab

d. The mini-observations are to be unannounced, and last a minimum of 5 minutes.

e. The administrator then enters feedback about the mini-observation into a text box that is limited to 500 characters.

f. Feedback must be given to the teacher within 48 hours of the mini-observation.

h. The administrator has the ability to see the progress on each teacher, and also determine whether or not they have provided feedback relative to the mini-observation.

i. The teacher will see the following screen, and have the option of leaving a response.

j. The Administrator has the option of seeing how many observations have been conducted, and “expand” any previous mini-observations in order to check previous comments, or view any response left by the teacher.

k. Report Section—Allows the administrator to track number of completed mini-observations for all teachers.

III. Teacher Responsibilitiesa. The teacher will login at the same www.t-eval.com siteb. And login on the teacher side

c. The teacher will see the same initial welcome page as the Administrator, however, they will only see a mini-observation after submission by the Administrator. They will then have the option of adding feedback relative to the Administrator’s comments.

d. The teacher will see mini-observation comments as soon as they are marked complete. They will then have the option of posting a response that can be sent to the administrator by hitting the “submit” button.

e. The teacher will also have the responsibility of filling out a Self-Assessment, which is the same document as the “Summative” form that will eventually be completed by the Administrator. The administrator can see the teacher Self Assessment at any time. Toggle buttons on each Domain page allow quick access to all Domains.
