MEMORIZING AND UNDERSTANDING

STEM

Building Robots in the classroom exposed the students

to understand and learn more than what they learn in

their classrooms.

It is important that minorities understand what is going

on in the world around them, even at a younger age.

WHAT DID I LEARN

I Learned that my students were excited for

the challenges of building a robot.

I had the challenge of building the robot.

I had to teach the students to be patient, calm

and cooperative.

They:

UNDERSTANDING OF BLACK HISTORY

MONTH

“In order to know where you are going you

have to look back at the past.”

I choose to do this activity so they can be

aware of who they are and how they can

impact the world.

They had to write formal essays of what they

think about Black History Month

WHAT TYPE OF COMPONENT IS THIS?

Project: AIMS summer component is an

PROJECT AIMS

In my personal experience Project AIMS is more than a

job to me. It helps me understand what minorities are

going through in their external environment. The

programs that are set in place is set up for prevention,

intervention and education. I want to continue to help

children and help families continuing to grow strong.
