THE AID
A Self Driving Autonomous Multitasking Robot using Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence.
We designed a robot that can reach to any remote locations such as collapsed building or a house on fire and help us by searching for a target object inside and send different data's about the environment inside (eg Temperature, Humidity, Oxygen level)
PROJECT AID
Accomplishments
To build a self-depended robot which - • Is capable of sensing its environment and navigate without human input. • Can feel its surroundings by the help of computer vision etc. • Can collect various data from surroundings and send it to the centre.• Can identify any object and pick itself without any human interaction. • Can be sent any place where human can’t reach like collapsed building, toxic area, battle filed etc.
Expected Impact
As Bangladesh is very prone to earthquakes so there are high risks of having the country result in mass building collapse and wreckages. As a result, a lot of people might get trapped inside those collapsed buildings. If not rescued on time; they might face death so; these Artificially Intelligent Rescue Robots can be easily used to speed up the extrication. The robot can help the rescue team by searching the victims inside the buildings using computer visions and locate them; it can also provide food and other necessary materials to these trapped victims. Moreover video footages sent via the camera to control panel can help plan the rescue team for a route of entrance inside the collapsed area, which will save a lot of time to complete the rescue process and increase the efficiency of the team by a huge margin.
BLOCK DIAGRAM
SimulationsBefore implementing the project we did some simulations to check whether the circuits and codes work or not. Though it is not possible to simulate whole project but we tried to simulate the parts which can be done by simulation software. For the circuits simulation we used PROTEUS 8.1. For image processing we used OpenCV & SimpleCV libraries. We designed a graphical user interface using python programming language.

Future Applications
Applications of this type of Computer Artificial Intelligent robots are limitless. Few of the future applications are listed below. It can be used by• The Fire Brigade team while trying to control fire in case of a fire
break out • The Police force during any emergency hostile situation. • Physically disabled person for assistance; Move over Autopilot cars can also be made based upon system we used in our project.
