14:30 – 15:30 Economic diversification and women’s empowerment Economic diversification is key for developing and least developed countries which need to find new business alternatives to safeguard resources, ensure economic growth and ultimately expand trade. International organizations such as the WTO and the World Bank, among others, have identified elements which are key drivers for diversification and empowerment, starting with the implementation of transparent, coordinated and fair trade policies as well as the empowerment of women. The economic diversification and women’s empowerment will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the air cargo industry but in the meantime, how can we contribute?
