PROGRAM PROPOSAL

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN MANILA

• Arrival in Manila• VIP meet and greet with our local representative on National costume with our own national flower

sampaguita• Transfer to hotel; Check-in• Overnight in Manila

- Optional Airport Transfer: A fancy air-conditioned jeepney with a coloruful 20-seats where a videokescreen is installed for eveyone to use for singing songs as the trip to hotel commences.

DAY 2: HALF-DAY OLD MANILA CITY TOUR

• Breakfast at the hotel• Half-day Old Manila City TourPass by Luneta Park through a running tour on your way to Intramuros. Luneta Park which is also known asRizal Park. It is a historic urban park located in the heart of Manila. First stop would be the The Walled City ofIntramuros which means “within the walls”, is the oldest district and historic place in Manila. It was built by theSpaniards to protect the city from foreign invasions. One way of covering the area whilst giving your legs a bitof a rest, is by Kalesa. Found in the Walled City are ancient walls, church ruins, and other relics of the SpanishConquistadors. Within the Fort Santiago grounds are an oasis of lovely manicured gardens, plazas andfountains leading to its arched gate and pretty lily pond. Within is the beautifully presented Rizal Shrinemuseum, the building where Dr. José Rizal – Philippines’ national hero – was incarcerated as he awaitedexecution in 1896. It contains various fascinating displays of Rizal memorabilia and a re-creation of his cell andthe courtroom trial.

• Lunch at Casa Roces Restaurant• The pre-war house was restored and renovated, and makes for a great backdrop for events like

weddings and other events. The restaurant also serves as a gallery, showing off an impressivecollection of art that includes a small portrait by Juan Luna.

• After lunch, retrace the footsteps of the men and women who shaped our history by taking a tour ofMalacañang Museum, which is open to the public Monday through Fridays from 9 am to 12 noon, and1 pm to 3 pm. The tour consists of the Presidential Museum and Library. While it is unlikely that youwill bump into the President during your visit, the museum has plenty to offer. It houses a well-curatedcollection of campaign materials, presidential gifts, and important documents, including thecontroversial Proclamation No. 1081, in which former President Ferdinand E. Marcos declared martiallaw in the Philippines.

DAY 3: TAGAYTAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR

• Breakfast at the hotel• Tagaytay Sightseeing TourEnjoy a picturesque drive up to the Philippines’ Second Summer Capital as you join us on this escortedtour. Tagaytay is part of the province of Cavite, located on a ridge 2,200 feet above sea level which offersa panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano, known for being the smallest active volcano in the world. It isone of the beautiful places in the Philippines where you can spend your vacation.

While enjoying the panoramic view of Tagaytay, you can see a lot of local fruit markets along the roadthat sell freshly picked fruits. You can have a brief stop for fruit tasting and try the well-known Buko Pie intown.

• Lunch at Balay DakoBalay Dako is a restaurant that proudly serves Filipino food. From native dishes created before writtenhistories, to inspirations fashioned by seafaring traders and the assimilations shaped by colonialoccupation, Filipino cuisine is defined by struggle and acceptance, upheaval and adaptation.

• Back to hotel in Manila; Freshen up• Pick-up at the hotel for dinner• Dinner in a local restaurant• Overnight in Manila

DAY 4: DEPART IN MANILA

• Breakfast at the hotel• Free at leisure until check-out• Pick-up at the hotel• Transfer to airport• Depart Manila
