Write the SAT Essay Right :: gives insight into the pattern and predictability of the

SAT essay, and contains essay blueprints, template opening sentences, point-grabbing

Award-winning WilsonPrep is one of the premier private tutoring facilities in Westchester County, New York. Established

in 2005 by Laura Wilson, an educator with over 15 years experience as an English teacher at some of the nation’s most

academically rigorous high schools, WilsonPrep recognizes that student success depends upon consistent practice.

As a tutor, Wilson noticed that most of her students “crammed” before sessions, and were not practicing on a regular basis. Because

of this, she began emailing students daily various SAT/ACT questions, encouraging consistent practice. Her finding: practice is key!

Those students who regularly answered her daily emails scored comparatively higher than those who did not. Wilson launched

her innovative online program, WilsonDailyPrep, in 2008. Through daily emailed questions and regular feedback, students build core

reading, math, grammar and vocabulary skills. Today, schools look to the WilsonDailyPrep as an effective, equitable solution to SAT

and ACT preparation.

As a committed educator, Laura Wilson believes that standardized test practice enhances classroom learning and promotes

college-readiness. Her books, study guides, and online program were created with the idea of infusing quality test preparation

into the high school classroom and elevating learning by daily drilling of basic core English and math skills.

As part of her commitment to education, Laura Wilson founded Graph It Forward Today (GIFT), a not-for-profit organization

that donates graphing calculators, test-prep books, and the WilsonDailyPrep curriculum to disadvantaged students. GIFT’s

mission is to end the education gap in this country, so that all students have the opportunity for a higher education.

Wilson’s insight and ingenuity have helped thousands of students reach their testing
