Non-Minneapolis residents pay a non-resident rate of 50 percent more. Discounted rates for students enrolled in summer school are available.

Partial fee assistance is available for eligible Minneapolis residents. MPRB is a provider registered with Hennepin County Child Care Assistance. Please contact your local park for more information.

Affordable, Quality School-Age ChildcareThe Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board offers Rec Plus for children grades K-6 at neighborhood recreation centers. Rec Plus enables children to experience the positive benefits of a balanced recreation program and provides a safe environment that promotes healthy physical and social development.

The program offers children opportunities to get exercise, make new friends, increase confidence and have fun. Activities include games and sports, swim lessons, arts and crafts, outdoor play, field trips and nutritious snacks.

Contact your desired Rec Plus site for availability and registration information. Full-time and part-time spots are available. Registration will be complete when all required forms are submitted along with the $35.00 non-refundable annual registration fee.

Registration begins March 20, 2018, at 5:30 pm at summer Rec Plus sites. First week’s payment is due upon registration.
