About the course: A one day intensive workshop consisting of lectures, videos and hands-on
workshop on saw bones with high faculty to participant ratio, targeted at
trainees and consultant surgeons dealing with distal radius fractures
Course objectives:
1. provide an update on the current opinion in the management of distal
radius fractures in the young and elderly2. understand the principles of surgical treatment
3. understand the principles of the locking plates
4. acquire skills in fixing extra-articular and intra-articular fractures in the
saw bone model using a multi directional locking plate system
