2. About GPAD Geo-Planning for Advanced Development (GPAD) established in 31 October 2009. It was in itiated by a group of Urban and Rural/ Regional Planner, Engineer, Architect, Sociologist, Economist, Agriculturalist and Software Developer. We believe in our capability and willingness to invest our capacity for the advancement and development of our country. GPAD believes that only proper planning and its timely execution can help advancement of the development process. The main focus of GPAD is to take part in the national development process to provide quality services by using energetic & highly professional staff and their knowledge & skill on advanced tools & techniques in various fields. GPAD as a multi-disciplinary consulting firm has been providing services to the government, private and international organizations. ▪ The locations of cyclone shelter were pin pointing by using Global Positioning System (GPS)
▪ Based on the population, accessibility, availability of resources and considering socio-economic issues, a GIS map has been prepared which explore the actual location where a new cyclone shelter can be constructed
▪ Form the GIS mapping the situation of existing cyclone shelter has been identified whether it required to repair or not.
