PROFILE SUMMARY

An accountant by profession, earning my F.C.C.A. (UK) status through self-

study. Spent 23 years in the corporate world as Chief Accountant/General

Manager/Finance Director of a Swiss conglomerate dealing in high end luxury

products.

Very strong enthusiast of dancing and as a child, had special opportunity to

take on ballet lessons. Throughout the schooling years, had always

volunteered to lead a group of students in concert presentations and

choreographed performance items for schools’ major events. Now, as an adult,

the stage is often the “playground” for charity shows, community club events,

etc as well as a self-groomed Master of Ceremony for many events.

With a flair to present in front of an audience, trainings became a natural part

of me.

Since 2010 (after “retiring” from Richemont), entrepreneurship was the next

exciting phase. Business activities involved :

Dance studio facility of approximately 3,000 sq ft

Social dance lounge

Retailing of ballroom dancewear, dance shoes & dance accessories

Organized major dance related events such as

“International Dance Showcase” in November 2012

“King & Queen of Dance” in June 2013

The retail shop located at Crawford Lane for 3 years was about the most well-

known outlet within the ballroom dance community that looks after the needs

of dancers (both competitive and social dancers). Since August 2015, the

business was sold in order to focus on trainings.

With a strong passion in training, I have also embarked on dance training with

the Career Women’s Group (CWG) at the Singapore Chinese Chamber of

Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) since 2011. This training formed part of their

curriculum for the sub-interest group and also provided an opportunity for the

career women to present on-stage performance items during SCCCI’s annual

dinner and at the International Women’s Day event.

Other interest groups for dance trainings comprise Rotary Club for their

President installation events.

Currently, still dancing competitively and my dream and passion is to

motivate and touch hearts of every human being regardless of age, religion,

race, gender and background that there is so much more to enjoy in life and

there is a never ending road to learning more and more and even more (be it

knowledge, skills or even a hobby !!). Never be afraid to try…..
