• Short-term goals: – Plan thematic discussions on race/ethnicity in
academia, inclusive excellence and faculty diversity at each Faculty Council meeting in 2015-16
– Advise Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs; provide feedback on draft faculty diversity plan

Three major intersectional issues
At Faculty Council we will discuss how gender, race, sexual orientation, class and other categories of identity impact the experiences of faculty and students with regard to these three areas
