Worked with major clients and institutions, including Glasgow City Council; BBC; The Clore Foundation.

Built a business which was recognised as one of the UK’s leading practices.

Won over 50 National and International Awards for Architecture, Conservation and Urban Design.

Collaborated successfully with leading engineers, landscape architects and surveyors

Operated successfully within a strict strategic framework.

Handling fee income of £10m and turnover of £200m per annum.

Teaching:

Experience as a practitioner and educator over 25 years.

Providing a bridge between the professional needs of the RIBA and the academic requirements of the university.

Believe that the role of the architect practitioner and teacher is inseparable.
