2005 – Senior PSCM managers identified the need for local and Oil & Gas specific training in Aberdeen 2006 - CIPS was approached and asked to consider the challenge 2007 – Analysis of PSCM disciplines across the Industry and the skill sets associated with each discipline (Contracts, Procurement and Logistics) 2008 - O&GUK, CIPS and OPITO work together to establish provision a formal training & development programme to meet the Industry need 2009 - CIPS presents proposed programme to industry PSCM Practitioners
