Fact Book

The  Fact Book provides information about the college to support sound planning and decision-making, as well as provide an historical perspective of the institution.  It is designed to be used as a reference for documenting data to support academic and administrative decisions.

It also functions as a handbook for faculty wishing to gain a college-wide perspective.  Topics include a brief college history, a description of the service area, and data related to the College's student body academics, personnel, financial position, facilities, and outcomes indicators.  Data are provided for multiple years with graphs and charts for at-a-glance comparisons.

Institutional Survey Reports

The Enrolled Student Survey (ENSS) was developed at St. Petersburg College (SPC) as one component of a college-wide assessment system to ensure the delivery of quality academic and student support services.

The specific purposes of this annual survey is to ascertain how our enrolled students perceive the College and determine both the importance and level of satisfaction of enrolled students with the College's academic and student support services. Subsequently, this information is to be used by the faculty and administration to establish quality improvement initiatives that benefit our students.

Institutional Survey Reports

The Entering Student Survey (ESS) developed by St. Petersburg College is part of a comprehensive college-wide assessment program to ensure that the College delivers quality academic and support services to students.

The primary purpose of the ESS is to develop a demographic profile of the students entering the College, discover what factors influence their decision to apply to the College, discern how they learned about the College, and measure their perception of the importance of various academic, student support services and tutoring areas provided to them by the College.

Institutional Survey Reports

The Graduating Student Survey (GSS) is part of a comprehensive college-wide assessment program developed to examine the demographic profile of the responding graduates, assess their perceptions of the educational experience at the College and determine how the educational process at the College has changed their behavior and/or their knowledge as it relates to some specific areas of inquiry (educational outcomes).

The GSS is available to students applying for graduation on-line during all three terms of each academic year.

Ed Outcomes Online

To provide a medium for completing the draft educational assessment reports as well as establishing a repository for program specific information, SPC developed an Educational Assessment Web site (https://it.spcollege.edu/edoutcomes/)

College administration and instructional staff are provided access to “completed” assessment reports including the APAR (Program & Gen Ed) and the CAPR

Online access further encourages the use of assessment data as well as highlighting “best practices” across the college
