Elementary Grade Level Meetings8:00 – 11:00 AMThe purpose of our grade level meetings will be to cultivate a collaborative
culture around ensuring ambitious outcomes for all students in literacy. We will
focus on using the Lucy Calkins Units of Study in Writing to meet the needs of all
learners. All grade level teachers, reading specialists, resource room
teachers, and ELD specialists will attend these sessions (Please select a

Assessment for Learning12:10 – 3:10 PMThe focus of this afternoon session will be on collecting Fountas and Pinnell data
that will fuel the collaborative process throughout the school year as we work to
meet the needs of all learners. All grade level teachers, reading specialists,
resource room teachers, and ELD specialists will attend this session at your
