1. PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The programme is designed to allow the participants to learn on job service training mode. The
course content designed jointly by academic partners of MANAGE, IIPM and SIM {MAIS} based
on felt-needs of industry across value chain from production to marketing/sales and until
service domain. MAIS designed these high-impact learning experiences to focus on agri-
business management training and executive leadership development for 3 key groups: Senior
managers responsible for creating agri-business markets and driving growth at the global
enterprise level. High-potential middle-to-senior managers preparing to assume greater levels
of responsibility in their organizations. Experienced, talented women executives poised to step
in to top roles in the agri-business & service sector. This program involves an intensive training
and exposure visits divided between India and Singapore.
DYNAMIC, RIGOROUS CURRICULUM FOR CHANGING TIMES
This intensive 7 days program focuses on the environment in which agri-business operates, the
key functional areas of management, the development and implementation of corporate and
business unit strategy and the promotion of organizational learning. With cutting–edge
management tools, MAIS ensures the curriculum keeps pace with the ever-evolving challenges
and complexity of agri-business executive leadership.

2. PROGRAMME GOAL
Equip Managers/Executives to be an effective strategists and remain competitive in the
changing global agri-food business which in turn would ensure holistic development of the
sector by meeting emerging market requirement.
3. ADMISSION CRITERIA
An admissions committee thoroughly reviews each application and considers the nature and
scope of the applicant’s responsibilities. For the benefit of class members, sponsoring
organizations and the integrity of the program, the committee seeks to admit individuals with
diverse skills and experiences and at least 5 years of professional experience. MAIS expects that
participants will attend all sessions, immerse themselves completely in the experience and free
themselves of all other obligations while the program is in session. It is expected that
participants can read through an ambitious curriculum of business materials and contribute
meaningfully to classroom and small group discussions.
SPONSORSHIP REQUIRED
To enroll in the Executive Development Program, you must have a sponsor from your
organization, someone familiar with your background and motivations for attending. This could
be the person to whom you report, your organization’s HR Manager/Executives or the person
responsible for management development in your organization.
LANGUAGE
The programme is taught in English and there is a considerable amount of reading material
(e.g., case studies and articles) given in advance and during the program.
ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Class size is limited to maximize classroom and study group participation, so early application is
encouraged. PCP applications are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed upon submission
until the program fills.
CERTIFICATE
The MAIS Management awards a certificate upon the successful completion of the PCP
program.
COST
The fee for PCP is payable in INR 1.35 lakhs or 2,080 US dollars, plus 18% GST. The fee covers
tuition, class materials, accommodation, international travel in economy class and most meals.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Enrolments in MAIS programs are highly competitive,
and places will not be guaranteed until your payment is received.
The fee would be Rs. 1.50 lakhs plus 18% GST, for nominations received beyond
31st December 2017. It is expected that applicants have their own health
insurance valid in Singapore. The MAIS is not responsible for medical expenses
incurred by participants during the program days in India and Singapore.
GROUP DISCOUNT
Food and Agribusiness Sector (FAS) organizations sponsoring 3 or 4 participants to MAIS-PCP
programme will be entitled to a discount of 6% on the programme fee payable. Any
organization sponsoring 5 or more participants to the programme will be entitled to a discount
of 10% on the programme fee payable. The above discounts will be applicable only when the
number of participants actually attended the full 7-days programme.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Because attendance at a MAIS professional certificate program requires significant advance
preparation and demand often exceeds capacity, it is important that you contact us in a timely
manner if you must cancel or defer your attendance. To receive a full refund of tuition, notice
of cancellation must be received more than 30 days in advance of the program start date.
Participants who cancel less than 30 days in advance will not receive a refund but may
nominate an acceptable substitute or attend a future session of the same program within one
year.
4. PROGRAM STRUCTURE
FORMAT AND LOCATION
The 7 days Advanced Management Program is available in two formats - a consecutive 4 days in
India and 3 days in SIM-Singapore. In both formats, accommodations are provided and included
in the program fee.
Uniquely designed to take place in two distinct locations in the greater Singapore and
Hyderabad area, the program brings together executives from around the world and across
sectors and agri-business industries to learn in an immersive and productive environment. For
the second half of the program, participants stay in a 3-star hotel in Singapore. The program
sessions for part two take place on the SIM campus, immersing participants in the island
business capital of the world.
PROGRAM CURRICULUM
Weaving together more than 12 unique program sessions over the course of 7 days, the
Advanced Management Program combines lectures, workshops, videos, role play and
discussions with a variety of experiential learning opportunities that take you outside of the

At the PCP Management Program, your journey of intellectual, personal, and professional
growth begins long before you arrive in Hyderabad and doesn’t end with the last day of the
program. A team of faculty and staff members is single-mindedly dedicated to creating an
overarching learning experience for you that extends beyond the 7 days of the program.
From connecting with the Program Director and members of your executive cohort prior to the
program start date to help you identify the organizational challenge you’d like to bring to the
program to address, to working with the Program Director then again after you’ve returned to
your organization, we’re committed to giving you professional development with a lasting
impact.
PRE-PROGRAM
In preparation for your arrival, Program Directors will reach out to set the foundation for your
learning by helping you with:
Setting your personal and organizational goals
Identifying and preparing your learning goal
Completing your 360-degree feedback assessments
You’ll also hear from various faculty, get connected to members of your incoming cohort, and
begin to exchange ideas and objectives.
IN-SESSION
Throughout the program, more than 10 to 15 faculty members and practitioners led by Faculty
Director share their subject-matter areas of expertise to inspire and guide your journey to
authentic leadership, strategic thinking, and decisive execution.
POST-PROGRAM
After the program concludes, Program Directors consults with executives to maintain the
trajectory of their work and help them progress as leaders. Executives also have access to
various virtual learning opportunities and are encouraged to leverage their MAIS Business
School alumni benefits including the invitation to attend alumni events.
5. OUTCOME
An intensive 7-days tri-party PCP programme will meet the professional development goals of
the individual participant’s leadership, strategic decision making, understanding, HR aspect
from high potential managers primed for career advancement in today’s complex challenges.
The broad-based programme incorporate simulations, experiential activities and case studies to
help leaders realize their full potential. In addition, program explore & enhance participants
leading innovation, developing talent and empowering people, inspiring collaboration and
teamwork, mastering the art of business operations and management for better decision
making.
6. HOW TO APPLY
Interested applicants may apply/nominate by clicking on the “Apply Now” link corresponding to
the particular PCP, as appearing on our online form available at, https://manage.gov.in. Kindly
fill in this online form mentioning full details of the participant(s), sponsoring authority/
organization, and other specifics. Upon submission of the online form, applicants will receive an
auto generated acknowledgement mentioning a tentative date by which they may expect to
hear from us regarding their selection. The nomination(s) will be forwarded to the Programme
Director(s) for her/his/their necessary consideration. Once the candidature(s) is (are) approved,
the sponsoring authority or participant (in case of self‐nomination) will be intimated over e-mail
along with the invoice.
Payment must be processed within ten days of receipt of the invoice. Please note that
confirmation of participation is subject to receipt of programme fees by Agri Business office,
MANAGE, before programme commencement. Programme fees can be remitted online through
NEFT/RTGS.
The details of making the payment can be found in the invoice email. Upon remitting the fees
online, kindly intimate Agri Business office, MANAGE, with the UTR Number/relevant
transaction details through e-mail, so that we can connect your remittance to your
nomination(s).
As on occasions, the number of applications is more than what we can accommodate, it would
be ideal to submit your nominations 6 to 8 weeks prior to the PCP commencement. Greater
preference would be provided to firms that nominate four or more participants.
