Procedure of installing the access control software:

1 nstall the data!ase system f the MS Access data!ase is used# no installation is re6uired# !ecause the

operating system itself pro"ides this function f the MS S&' Ser"er is used# installation is re6uired# andS&')*** is recommended

) nstall the access control software !y following the installation wi,ard

; Switch o"er the data!ase f the MS Access data!ase is used# no operation is re6uired# and the software

can directly run at the end of installation f the S&' data!ase is used# it is re6uired to install the

dedicated data!ase system of the access control software into the S&' data!ase# and then switch the

data!ase with the %ata/aseSetupe3e tool under the installation directory# to ena!le the dedicated

data!ase

After the software is installed and the data!ase wor5s normally# the access control software can run

The default startup user name is admin without password. After loin! you can add more users.

Modifying door parameters

Ieep open time: The period in which the door is unloc5ed after a person swipes in#

during which the person should go into or out of the door When

this period e3pires# the door is loc5ed again

Open timeout: After a person swipes in# the door is unloc5ed and then loc5ed

again when the opening duration e3pires +owe"er# at this time# the

door may !e not closed# !ecause the door may !e still opened f

the door is still opened after this period e3pires since the loc5 enters

the loc5ing status# the system regards opening timeout n other

words# this "alue is the duration of too long opening

Alarm of too long opening time: 4eporting or not reporting an alarm when the door opens for a too

long time

/idirectional inspection: nspecting the actions of going in the going out after a person

swipes in This function is only "alid for the singlecard

Card distri!ution means distri!uting a card to a specific person for using When this person swipes in# his
