He earned an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1989 and a post graduate degree in management in 1999. He received his doctorate (Fellow of Indian Institute of Management Lucknow) in 2004. He has about three decades of experience in research, teaching, consulting and industry. He worked in various positions in industry (AV Birla Group) in technical as well as management roles. He was an internal facilitator for TPM implementation at Indo Gulf Corporation leading it to win the TPM Excellence Award from JIPM Japan in the year 2000. Prof. Samir has designed, developed and taught courses at both post graduate and doctoral levels. He has conducted on-campus and in-company training programs for government, public sector and corporate executives. He has also carried out many funded research projects and consulting assignments. Prof. Samir K Srivastava (Professor at IIM Lucknow – India)

Samir K Srivastava is a Professor at IIM Lucknow (India). He earned an

undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Institute of

Technology, Banaras Hindu University in 1989 and a post graduate degree

in management in 1999. He received his doctorate (Fellow of Indian

Institute of Management Lucknow) in 2004. He has about three decades

of experience in research, teaching, consulting and industry. He worked in

various positions in industry (AV Birla Group) in technical as well as management roles. He was

an internal facilitator for TPM implementation at Indo Gulf Corporation leading it to win the TPM

Excellence Award from JIPM Japan in the year 2000.

Prof. Samir has designed, developed and taught courses at both post graduate and doctoral

levels. He has conducted on-campus and in-company training programs for government, public

sector and corporate executives. He has also carried out many funded research projects and
