Production Process ofmy school magazine

Preliminary task

Firstly, to start off my process I have uploaded a photo of the school hall. I have done this by selecting File at the top left hand side of the page, then Open. I have then found the photo I wanted to use. This photo was however landscape and I wanted to make it A4 as this is the appropriate size for a magazine front cover. To make the image A4 I used the crop tool which is on the left hand of the page on a side bar. I have shown how I have done this on the next slide.

Next, I have used the text tool on the left to add the masthead of my magazine. ‘Weatherhead Express’. I have changed the font by selecting the font tool and choosing which one I want. I have also changed the colour of the masthead to purple and white by using the colour box on the left.

After I added the masthead on to my magazine front cover, I added another image as a subsidiary image for my font cover. I did this by again selecting File then Open. This image opened in a new tab, I then dragged the tab over to my front cover so the image then appeared on my font cover. To make the image smaller I used the ‘show transform tools’ tool, and used to corners of the image to drag the image inwards to change the size.

After adding a image to my front cover I added text by using the text tool. I then changed the font, size and colour of the text by using the tools on the top bar.

I have again added another image on to my front cover and used to show transform tools tool to change the size of it. I have then moved the image to were I want it to be on the front cover.Added image to

Next I have added more text on to my front cover. I have shown how I add text on previous slides. I have used the text size, text font, and colour change tool to change the text.

Finally, I have added a bar code on to my front cover of my magazine to make it look professional.To open the image of the barcode I selected File, then Open and then chose the photo of the barcode. I have then moved the image of the barcode to were I wanted it to be on the page and used to show transform tools tool to change the size of the barcode.

Here is my final school magazine
