Firstly using the text tool I added the masthead onto the front cover of my school magazine. I also added the website and Issue number onto the front cover by using the text box tool.

I then drew a rectangle at the side of the page with the shape tool. This rectangle was made to put my smaller images onto that represent the other stories in the magazine.

I added smaller white boxes onto the big rectangle where each smaller image was going to go. The white boxes were to be used as templates for the smaller images. Only the bottom of the white boxes would be shown for the text that anchors each smaller image.

I cropped and resized each image to make my smaller images, I put my smaller images into each of the white boxes and then using the text tool I added what the story shown by each smaller image was about. I used rectangles on the other side of the page to add another story that was advertised as a double page spread.
