KOKO STAGE TRUSSES

UPSTAGE

• There is a 24' rear truss composed of 3 x 8' sections of Total Fabrications Medium Duty Truss, suspended on 2 x load star electric chain hoists.

• There is approximately a 7m span between suspension points. • The maximum permitted load on each individual hoist is 650kg. • There are 2 additional lifting brackets in the roof above the truss where additional hoists can be added.

Each bracket has a capacity of 750kg.

DOWNSTAGE

• There is a 24' x 24' box truss Total Fabrications Medium Duty Truss, suspended on 4 x lode star electric chain hoists.

• There is a maximum load of 900kg per hoist. • There are 2 additional beam clamps in the roof above the centre of both cross-stage runs of truss

where additional hoists can be added. • Each beam has a capacity of 1,000kg. • Please see page 8 for truss loading. • Should extra hoists be added please remember to include the weight of the hoists and truss before

calculating loads on the brackets and/or beams.

Please also consider the following: [1] On a truss with a uniformly distributed load, a centre point will take at least 62% of the load. [2] When loads are approaching maximum capacities of the lifting equipment (including the roof brackets/beams) and if the lift involves more than 2 hoists, load monitoring via load cells should be seriously considered to avoid overloading of equipment.

If the concert is already sold out, putting a desk on the dance floor is not permitted.

FILMING & INTERNET USE

FILMING, STREAMING AND RECORDING

Depending on how many cameras you plan to use, and where you intend to put them, there can be an impact on the number of tickets you can sell.

The preferred setup which can be achieved without having an impact on the capacity is:

• Pit - 1x camera on fixed tripod or handheld (not on track) • Stage - 1x or 2x cameras handheld or on fixed tripod • F.O.H. position - 1x camera on fixed tripod

Further cameras will require floor space, and hence will have an impact on the capacity of the show.

Our facility fee for filming a show is £1100 + VAT for commercial broadcasting. Any production who feel they have a case for paying less need to contact Mike Hamer, Operations Manager on [email protected]

The fee for commercial audio broadcasting is £600 + VAT.

The fee for streaming online is £300 + VAT.

The fee for standalone filming (no audience) is £350 + VAT per hour.

For photo shoots (no audience) the fee is £175 per hour + VAT.

All outside broadcast vehicles parked on Crowndale Road must have the correct dispensation to park from Camden Council before they can be connected to the building.

INTERNET ACCESS

We have Virgin Fibre -Optic internet service that is sufficient for the needs of visiting personnel. It has 20Mbps upload and download speed (this can be increased to 100Mbps - a quote for higher speed connectivity can be supplied), so it is more than capable of also being able to reliably stream live broadcasts.

Use of WiFi is charged at £20 + VAT.
