Footnotes should be single spaced and appear within the text immediately after their numerical citation; they should be numbered consecutively throughout the text. Turabian, Manualfor Writers (3rd ed. rev., The University of Chicago Press). We particularly refer contributors to recent issues of the journal on specific matters of style. A more detailed Style Sheet is available from the journal offices and will be supplied to a contributor when the manuscript is at a more final stage of preparation.

All manuscripts submitted for publication should be addressed to Dr. Gerald J. Karaska, Editor, ECONOMIC GEOGRAPHY, Clark University, Worcester, MA 01610, U.S.A.
