OnePlus Company Profile

The OnePlus company was founded on December 16 of 2013 by former Oppo vice president Pete Lau. The company's main goal was to design a smartphone that would balance high-end quality with a lower price than other phones in its class, believing that users would "never settle" for the lower-quality devices produced by other Chinese companies (such as Xiaomi).

And they released OnePlus One Smartphone also stated it as a flagship killer as it can beat almost every single smartphone in specifications.

OnePlus One

Today OnePlus has only one smartphone released in market which is also named as “OnePlus One”.

This device is now one of the top 3 smartphones as shown by AnTuTu Benchmark.

Also it comes in 2 varients 16GB/64GB. And in very chip price Rs.18,999/ Rs.21,999 respectively.

16 GB Varient comes in Silk White color. And 64GB Varient in Sandstone Black color.

OnePlus One Hardware

Processor is one of the important factor by which we can state how the device will work. In One there is a Processor of well-known brand Qualcomm Snapdragon.

It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core 2.5 Ghz Processor. Which gives very excellent performance and multitasking experience.

Almost every brand uses this processor today in their flagship devices.

Also It Has GPU ‘Adreno 330’, 578 Mhz.

And 3 GB RAM to boost up performance of the device.

Also It has 3100 NON Removable Battery

It has 16GB/64GB internal memory and It does not contain a card slot.

Display And Camera

The OnePlus One features a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD screen with LTPS technology for a higher pixel density and sharper picture.

Gorilla Glass 3 protects the screen against scratches and with 178 degree vision, you can enjoy it from just about any angle.

Boasting a 13 megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 camera, the OnePlus One camera takes amazing pictures even in low light conditions.

Shoot anytime, anywhere for bright, sharp photos. OnePlus One camera boasts 6 physical lenses.

OnePlus One Software

OnePlus One has a 4.4 based android system with Cyanogen ROM.

Cyanogen is one of the well-known company for custom roms. According to me cyanogen is the most customizable rom based on Android. Cyanogen gives all the flexibilities which android does not gives.

Such as, changing Fonts and Icons, Themes, Controlling Navigation Buttons, Custom Notification Light, etc.

Cyanogen ROM gives a life to OnePlus One Hardware.

Connectivity

It has LTE (Long - Term Evolution) connection. Also it has GSM (Global System for Mobile)/HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) connection.

Bluetooth 4.1, A2DP.

GPS- A-GPS, Glonass

NFC

WiFi 802.11 with hotspot, WiFi Direct.

Ban In India

The Delhi High Court banned the import and sales of OnePlus One phones in India on 16 December, 2014. Following a lawsuit by Micromax citing the reason that Micromax has exclusivity for shipping phones(Yureka) with CyanogenMod software in India.

The banning of import and selling of the device has been lifted on 21 December, 2014.

The device continues to be shipped with CyanogenMod Rom however a customized OS specially designed by OnePlus is currently in development

Marketing Strategies Mouth Publicity is the one of the most

important marketing strategy of OnePlus One.

If anyone wants to buy OPO, they has to ask for one on their official site or on exclusively on amazon.in

They calls it Invite. If you get the invite you can purchase a device through Amazon.in

OnePlus One uses only Internet sources to Promote their device.

Each user who buys OPO get more 3 invites through which he can share it to friends, Family members. And does not has to wait for weeks to get One.

Packaging And Shipping

For shipping, they use standard international shipping companies such as FedEx.

And delivers it as fast as they can.

Estimated delivery time usually they gives more than actual. Device comes in users hand in 4-5 days and estimated time shows 10 days.

Phone comes in a very slim package. And Power Adapter comes separately. OPO has very unique and attractive packaging.
