ECOCLEAN® compressed air filters meet the strictest quality
requirements and are extremely economical in purchase price,
operation and maintenance. The housing is made of cast
aluminium, with an anti-corrosion protective coating on both
the inside and outside and an additional powder coating on the
outside.

Operational reliability• Two (ATK-AP) or three (ATK) large dimensioned silencers offer additional safety
by essentialy eliminating the risk of any discharge of desiccant dust to
atmosphere.
• The exclusive use of quality desiccants from well-known manufacturers
assures reliability of performance.
• Pre- and final filter provided as standard (up to ATK 110) offers system
reliability.
Service Friendly for ease of Maintenance• The desiccant is changed via filler and drain ports in all ECOTROC® AT models.
This design eliminates the need for awkward and time consuming dismantling
of the head and foot plates in the AT-AP compact series.
• The removal of the complete pipeline bridges in the ATK series is
accomplished via the simple releasing of two screwed couplings. The required
service work can therefore be performed in a pleasant work environment and
the awkward task of working directly on the dryer is no longer necessary.
• Simple and clear service packages simplify planning and implementation.
• For servicing after two years, a functional components kit for the ECOTROC®
ATK-AP compact series consists of just two Bürkert valves, two silencers,
two pressure gauges and a set of replacement pistons.

Features • Regeneration gas recirculation is a standard design feature of all ATK dryers

ECOTROC® MT is the most compact SCR solution for drying
compressed air to specific requirements. Membrane dryers do
not require electric power and are almost entirely maintenance-
free. In addition they only dry the compressed air when needed
and in the required quality. Their compact construction seems
predestined for mobile use but is also suitable for stationary
applications at the “point of use”.

In the ECOTROC® MT PLUS version SCR supplies a
system solution of the membrane dryer combined with
matching ECOCLEAN® SMA pre-filter and wall mount. This
combination can be mounted in this case in a vertical or
horizontal arrangement.

Due to physical circumstances water is part of every com-
pressed air system. There is much more in the summer than
in the winter because warm air can hold more humidity than
cold air. This physical effect is used by the refrigeration
dryer to remove the water. Water has to be removed from
compressed air systems in order to avoid damage (corrosi-
on) operational problems or even a production breakdown
at pneumatic control devices and systems.
The ECOTROC® KTC dryer line treats and removes this
unwanted water. SCR ECOTROC® KTC refrigeration dryers
deliver dry compressed air efficiently and effectively at
minimum operating costs, ensuring operational security.

Depending on the physical conditions, significant quantities of
compressor condensate always occur in the compressed air sys-
tem. In addition to water (condensed moisture), this condensate
also contains dirt, fine dust, particles, oil and microbes.
The generated condensate must therefore be fully removed
from the compressed air system.
Safe draining is ensured by using KONDRAIN® electric conden-
sate drains. They prevent condensate from entering the system,
thereby providing reliable protection to downstream devices.
The level-regulated condensate drain types – KONDRAIN® N –
guarantee economical condensate draining, because they
prevent any unnecessary loss of compressed air during the
draining process.

The 4 stages: The primary filter provides a safe and clean
pressure relief stage through a robust, permeable
side wall that lets in the condensate under system
pressure.
Free oil fractions are bound by an adsorbent filling
of the primary filter.
Solids are filtered in the primary filter, thereby
preventing clogging of the activated carbon filter.
An activated carbon filter cleans the condensate of
the last traces of oil. Only top-quality activated
carbon is used for this stage.

KONTREC® SEP
Compressed air is required as a reliable energy source for
many processes. As a result of the combination of compres-
sion and condensation processes significant amounts of
compressor condensate always accumulate in the com-
pressed air system. Besides moisture in the form of water
it usually also contains dirt, fine dust, particles (rust, abra-
sions etc.) and hydrocarbons that were drawn in by the com-
pressor and cause water issues. The lubricating agents of
the compressor themselves (oil) also represent a challenge.
Discharging untreated condensate into the municipal sewer
represents a gross ecological violation, and is irresponsible
for that reason. Consequently it also violates applicable
local regulations. KONTREC® is a small-footprint and relia-
ble local treatment unit representing the ideal and simple
solution to generate water that can be safely discharged.
