AIESEC in Bulgaria

AIESEC Bulgaria is an organization formed by students between 18 and 26

years old, that want to develop themselves and contribute to the development of Bulgarian society. Coming from a different background and majors and over 15 universities in the country, AIESEC Bulgaria is a diverse network of socially and business engaged young people.

Meeting Diversity Bulgaria 2014

Summary: AIESEC Educational Program is consisted of 4 volunteer projects, which aim to bring international mindset and creativity in Bulgarian high schools and kindergartens. Foreign students have the opportunity to feel the magic of Bulgarian culture while delivering trainings and creating diverse environment for Bulgarian youth. This is one of the most successful traditional projects that our organizations is running in Bulgaria. The project will be organized in Svishtov, Blagoevgrad, Sofia /TU, SU, UNWE/, Varna Objectives: -give opportunity to young children to develop their global mindset -to create diverse environment where children can learn more about different cultures -opportunity to learn basic English in practice -be part of various trainings and workshops developing soft skills in participants

Meeting Diversity Bulgaria 2014

Summary: Meeting Diversity is national educational project of AIESEC Bulgaria aimed to increase awareness of the different cultures within high school students through numerous activities, debates and interactive weekly workshops delivered by international volunteers. The project gives students space to practice their language skills, build lasting connections and experience the benefits diversity brings. At the end of the project, all participants will raise their knowledge and improve their attitudes regarding diversity. It will help them to broaden their concept of communication with other people. Objectives: -give opportunity to young children to develop their global mindset -to create diverse environment where children can learn more about different cultures -opportunity to learn basic English in practice -be part of various trainings and workshops developing soft skills in participants Target group of participants: High school students from 10th till 12 grade, interns

Summary: Meeting University is local project of AIESEC UNWE. It aims to raise awareness in students about their educational and career development. Our goal is to introduce to students all the opportunities that they have and to develop specific skills that are necessary for their professional realization. Our goal is to introduce to the students different opportunities for a career through a simulation of a real company/organization. This way they will have the chance to solve a case from the daily life of the companies in Bulgaria. Objectives: -give opportunity to young children to develop their global mindset -to create diverse environment where children can learn more about different cultures -opportunity to learn basic English in practice -To show students what is the real working environment -To develop a strategic thinking in students -To develop skills and knowledge that will be useful for the students in the university and in their future jobs Target group of participants: High school students from 11th till 12 grade, interns

Summary:

World Playground is national educational project of AIESEC Bulgaria aimed to building positive behaviours in children in the kindergartens. Through the activities organized by interns the children will learn the value of pro-activity, creativity and boost their curiosity about the world which will prepare them to live in today's globalize environment. By different activities like dances, songs, arts, sports and acts children will be enjoying learning basic level of English language and increasing their knowledge about interns’ culture and habits. Objectives:

-To introduce and engage kids with diverse cultures; -To promote a better understanding and appreciation of other customs, traditions and values; -To promote intercultural learning among the participating countries; -To open children’ approach about the world and its diversity; -To improve foreign language. -To make the learning process enjoyable and attractive for the children Details: Target group – Kindergartens, parents Teaching children in the kindergartens in English and other languages, workshops executed by our interns, presenting different cultures and traditions to the children.

Green Spirit Project Project summary: Green project is a national educational project aimed to raise environmental awareness amongst high school students and develop more sustainable lifestyles. The ultimate goal or outcome of the project is to boost students’ environmental sensibility by letting them be exposed to a variety of environmental activities and discussions run by interns so that young people can develop eco-friendly habits.

Objectives: - Promote international dialogue in global environmental issues. -Increase interest and address awareness of high schools students of particular environmental issues worldwide and in Bulgaria. - Inspire change in habits of teenagers, and mobilize youth around the implementation of healthy, sustainable lifestyle and practices.

-Opportunity for showcasing knowledge and good case practices on the topic from us and our partners

International University is local educational project aimed to increase the interest and willingness of the university students in some economic and world topics. The ultimate goal or outcome of the project is to boost students’ interest in the area of their majority. The project will provide them a variety of practical activities and discussions run by interns so that young students can develop their mindset in the field of their education. Objectives:

-Promote international dialogue in global economic and personal development issues. -Increase interest and address awareness of university students of particular economical issues worldwide and in Bulgaria. -Inspire change in the learning habits of students, and mobilize youth around the implementation of more interactive methods of studying like discussions, debates, brainstorming and etc. -Inform and provide education to students about opportunities in the global market and socially responsible choices for every individual. Project summary: CSR in Practice is completely new type of project. This summer we started our pilot edition and we are searching for our supporters. This project is about developing CSR policies in the Bulgarian business. International interns are ready to help the companies to develop sustainable business .
